Dr. Enrique Canchola Martínez (La Moncada Guanajuato 1950), is a distinguished Mexican scientist with expertise in neuroendocrinology.
He holds a degree in Medical Surgery (1975), from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Dr. Canchola specialized in Experimental Neuroendocrinology at the National Medical Center of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), where he worked as a neuroendocrinologist.
His academic journey includes a Master’s degree in Physiology and a (PD) Doctorate in Biological Sciences from the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM).
For over forty five years, he has been a Professor of Human Anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM, and a Professor and Researcher in the Department of Reproductive Biology at UAM.
Dr. Canchola has authored over sixty scientific papers published in national and international journals, with his work cited more than five hundred times.
He has supervised ten specialization theses in Acupuncture, six master’s theses, and five doctoral theses.
