The new perception of the world from art and science

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, a meeting was held to define the participation of the Genesis 4D crypto sculpture, in the studio of sculptor Miguel Peraza, in order to design the participation of the Genesis 4D Project in the XIX Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates to be held from September 18 to 21 in the city of Monterrey. Nuevo León, México.

Scientists from different disciplines were summoned by the sculptor to explore, analyze and discuss the evolution of perception in sculpture that goes from traditional forms to the most recent innovations proposed by master Peraza, with his Genesis 4D crypto sculpture, in the process of being taken to the fourth dimension.

The actress Gabriela Coppola coordinated eminent figures of science: Miguel Mayorga (UAMEX), Héctor Báez (IPN), Gabriela Suastes (IPN), Elsa Chavira (BUAP), Alejandro Pedroza (BUAP), Enrique Canchola (UAM) and the sculptor himself.

Genesis 4D is a revolutionary work that combines traditional sculpture with digital technology and blockchain, creating a unique four-dimensional experience.
This work not only represents a breakthrough in the field of art, but also an intersection between science and human creativity.

Participants, discussed how blockchain technology has enabled artists to create and authenticate digital works in a secure and transparent manner. Miguel Mayorga, highlighted the importance of this technology to preserve the integrity of works of art and facilitate their access to a wider audience.

The discussion then turned to sculpture in the fourth dimension, a concept that goes beyond the traditional three physical dimensions, while Héctor Báez, explained how Genesis 4D uses principles of quantum mechanics to create an immersive experience that challenges the traditional perception of art. Peraza’s work, with its spherical shape and its composition of circles and metal polygons, seems to change before the viewer’s eyes depending on the angle from which it is viewed, simulating the concept of superposition and quantum entanglement.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the intersection between art and science. Gaby Suastes, Enrique Canchola, and Gabriela Coppola, discussed how Peraza’s work invites us to reflect on the nature of our existence and the
possibilities of the universe.

Elsa Chavira and Alejandro Pedroza, added that Genesis
4D is not only a piece to be admired, but it is also an educational instrument that encourages students and scholars to explore the depths of reality, imagination and how art is capable of inducing deep cognitive processes and qualitative experiences.

This exercise on the importance of Genesis 4D in the study of Miguel Peraza. It was an enriching gathering that not only celebrated innovation in art, but also fostered a deep dialogue between artists and scientists. Genesis 4D is a reflection of the human condition and an invitation to consider our own multidimensionality and the possibility of existing in different realities, as mentioned by maestro Peraza.
